Osiem dni, dziesięć lokalizacji, kilkadziesiąt wydarzeń… W tym roku kierownictwo artystyczne nad festiwalem Misteria Paschalia objął dobrze znany krakowskiej publiczności Vincent Dumestre, założyciel, dyrektor artystyczny i dyrygent zespołu Le Poème Harmonique, którego koncerty od wielu lat są szczególnie wyczekiwane przez festiwalowych słuchaczy.

Od ponad dwóch dekad okres Wielkiego Tygodnia i Wielkanocy to w Krakowie czas, gdy miasto rozbrzmiewa dziełami muzyki dawnej w światowej klasy wykonaniach. Podczas tej edycji festiwalowe wydarzenia podzielone zostały na dwa nurty: IN, a w nim cykle Grands Concerts i Dormitio, oraz OFF, w którego ramach odbędą się cykle Uchem malarza, Listening Keys i Keyboard Days! To w sumie kilkadziesiąt koncertów, kursów mistrzowskich, spotkań, konferencji, warsztatów, które odbędą się w dniach od 25 marca do 1 kwietnia.

Eight days, ten locations, and dozens of events – this year, the artistic direction of the Misteria Paschalia Festival went into the hands of an artist perfectly well-known here and adored by Kraków audiences – Vincent Dumestre: founder, artistic director, and conductor of the Le Poème Harmonique ensemble, whose concerts have been eagerly awaited by festival audiences for many years.

For over two decades, Kraków in the Holy Week and at Eastertime has resounded with world-class performances of early music. This year, the festival events are divided into two streams: IN, comprising the Grands Concerts and Dormitio cycles, and OFF, which includes the Painter’s Ear, Listening Keys, and Keyboard Days cycles. Taken together, they offer dozens of concerts, masterclasses, meetings, conferences, and workshops – all held from 25 March to 1 April.
