31. MIĘDZYNARODOWY FESTIWAL FILMOWY ETIUDA&ANIMA 2024

Międzynarodowy Festiwal Filmowy Etiuda&Anima jest najstarszym w Polsce festiwalem filmowym konfrontującym osiągnięcia studentów szkół filmowych i artystycznych z całego świata oraz dorobek twórców animacji artystycznej – zarówno profesjonalistów, studentów, jak i realizatorów niezależnych.

Centralnym, corocznym punktem imprezy są dwa tytułowe konkursy, w ramach których przyznaje się: w rywalizacji studenckiej obejmującej etiudy fabularne i dokumentalne – Złote, Srebrne i Brązowe Dinozaury oraz Specjalnego Złotego Dinozaura dla najlepszej szkoły filmowej festiwalu, zaś w rywalizacji twórców animacji – Złote, Srebrne i Brązowe Jabberwocky i dodatkowo Specjalnego Złotego Jabberwocky’ego dla najlepszej animowanej, studenckiej etiudy festiwalu. Rokrocznie wręczana jest też nagroda Specjalnego Złotego Dinozaura dla wybitnego pedagoga i zarazem czynnego, odnoszącego artystyczne sukcesy twórcy. Od wielu lat, po zakończeniu festiwalu, organizowane są prezentacje filmów nagrodzonych w kraju i za granicą w ramach imprezy Objazdowa Etiuda&Anima.

Od początku istnienia festiwalu główne punkty imprezy otoczone są bogatym programem wydarzeń towarzyszących. W trakcie ostatnich edycji stanowią one przede wszystkim okazję do spotkań ze światowej klasy artystami animacji i z najciekawszymi zjawiskami z tej dziedziny twórczości. W ramach imprez pozakonkursowych widzowie mogą przypomnieć sobie także ciekawe zjawiska filmowe z przeszłości kina, zwłaszcza animacji i dokumentu, a także zapoznać się z nie docierającymi do kin i rzadko tylko dostępnymi na odbywających się w Polsce festiwalach, współczesnymi filmami krótkimi i długometrażowymi filmami animowanymi.

The Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival is Poland's oldest film festival confronting the achievements of film and art school students from all over the world and the output of artistic animation creators - professionals, students and independent filmmakers alike.

The centerpiece of the annual event are the two eponymous competitions, which award: in the student competition comprising feature and documentary shorts, the Golden, Silver and Bronze Dinosaurs and the Special Golden Dinosaur for the best film school of the festival, while in the animation filmmakers' competition, the Golden, Silver and Bronze Jabberwocky and additionally the Special Golden Jabberwocky for the best animated student etude of the festival. A Special Golden Dinosaur Award is also presented annually to an outstanding educator and also an active, artistically successful filmmaker. For many years, after the festival, presentations of films awarded at home and abroad have been organized as part of the Touring Etude&Anima event.

Since the beginning of the festival, the main points of the event are surrounded by a rich program of accompanying events. During the last editions, they are primarily an opportunity to meet world-class animation artists and the most interesting phenomena in this field of creativity. In the framework of non-competition events, viewers can also recall interesting film phenomena from the past of cinema, especially animation and documentary, as well as get acquainted with contemporary short films and feature-length animated films that do not reach cinemas and are rarely only available at festivals held in Poland.
