Kings of Leon: Can We Please Have Fun

Kings of Leon, wielokrotny zdobywca nagrody Grammy i BRIT Award, powróci do Polski. Amerykański zespół wystąpi 17 lipca w TAURON Arenie Kraków. Będzie to jedyny koncert w Polsce w 2024 roku.

Uznawany przez ostatnie 20 lat za jeden z największych zespołów alternatywnego rocka, Kings of Leon właśnie wydali nowy utwór „Mustang” pochodzący z nadchodzącego, dziewiątego albumu studyjnego pt. „Can We Please Have Fun”, który ukaże się 10 maja. Bogata historia tras koncertowych zespołu obejmuje występy w roli headlinera na największych i najbardziej prestiżowych festiwalach na świecie, takich jak Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde i Lollapalooza’s w Berlinie, Sao Paulo, Chicago i Santiago, żeby wymienić tylko kilka.

Od debiutu w 2003 roku Kings of Leon (Caleb (gitara/wokal), Nathan (perkusja), Jared (bas) i Matthew Followill (gitara)) wydali osiem albumów: „Youth & Young Manhood” (2003), „Aha Shake Heartbreak” (2003), „Because of the Times” (2007), „Only by the Night” (2008), „Come Around Sundown” (2010), „Mechanical Bull” (2013), „WALLS” (2016), „When You See Yourself” (2021). Wszystkie te wydawnictwa sprzedały się w ponad 20 milionach egzemplarzy, a single znalazły nabywców wśród 40-milionowej rzeszy fanów na całym świecie. Wraz z wydaniem płyty „WALLS” zespół po raz pierwszy w historii zadebiutował albumem numer jeden na liście Billboard Top 200 w USA. „Kingsi” mają na swoim koncie także osiem nominacji do nagrody Grammy, w tym trzykrotnie sięgnęli po statuetki, a także trzy nagrody NME, dwie nagrody Brit Awards i nagrodę Juno. Wszystkie ostatnie sześć albumów Kings of Leon zadebiutowało na pierwszym miejscu brytyjskich list przebojów.

Kings of Leon, the multiple Grammy and BRIT Award winners, are returning to Poland. The American band is set to perform on 17 July at TAURON Arena Krakow, which will be their only concert in Poland in 2024.

Considered one of the greatest alternative rock bands of the last 20 years, Kings of Leon have just released a new song, “Mustang,” from their forthcoming ninth studio album, “Can We Please Have Fun,” which will be released on 10 May. The band's extensive touring history includes headlining some of the world's biggest and most prestigious festivals, such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde and Lollapalooza's in Berlin, Sao Paulo, Chicago and Santiago, to name but a few.

Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon (Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass) and Matthew Followill (guitar)) have released eight albums: “Youth & Young Manhood” (2003), “Aha Shake Heartbreak” (2003), “Because of the Times” (2007), “Only by the Night” (2008), “Come Around Sundown” (2010), “Mechanical Bull” (2013), “WALLS” (2016), “When You See Yourself” (2021). Together they have sold over 20 million copies, with singles bought by their 40-million-strong fan base worldwide. With the release of “WALLS,” the band debuted for the first time at number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart in the US. The “Kings” have also received eight Grammy Award nominations and three awards, as well as three NME Awards, two Brit Awards and a Juno Award. All of Kings of Leon's last six albums have debuted at number one in the UK charts.
