Kiermasz Pogranicza Kultur na stałe wpisał się w pejzaż krakowskiego Starego Miasta. Od wielu lat organizowany jesienią na Małym Rynku, przyciąga wielu turystów odwiedzających nasze miasto poza sezonem wakacyjnym, a przede wszystkim mieszkańców Krakowa i okolic.

Okrągły jubileusz wydarzenia promującego kulturę naszych południowych sąsiadów będzie okazją do poznania twórczości lokalnych rzemieślników, spróbowania swoich sił w tradycyjnym rękodziele czy włączenia się we wspólną taneczną zabawę. Kiermasz odbędzie się w dniach od 19 (czwartek) do 29 (niedziela) września na malowniczym Małym Rynku w Krakowie.

To wydarzenie kieruje reflektor uwagi na nasze Pogranicze – czyli tereny należące dziś do Polski, Czech i Słowacji. Podczas kiermaszu pokażemy krakowianom i turystom, jak nasze kultury przenikały się przez wieki i jak wiele wspólnego mają dziś. Będziemy celebrować nasze różnice i cechy wspólne, pokazując, jak ważna jest łącząca nas historia, a także promować ideę kultury pogranicza.

The Cultural Borderlands Fair has established itself as a permanent feature in the landscape of Krakow’s Old Town. Held for many years in the autumn on the Small Market Square, it attracts tourists visiting Krakow during the off-season, but mainly residents of Krakow and the surrounding area.

The event, promoting the culture of Poland’s southern neighbours, will be an opportunity to learn about the work of local artisans, try your hand at traditional handicrafts or take part in a dance party. The fair will take place from 19 (Thursday) to 29 (Sunday) September on Krakow’s picturesque Small Market Square.

This event turns the spotlight on Poland’s Borderlands - areas that today belong to Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. During the fair, we will show Cracovians and tourists how our cultures have intermingled over the centuries and how much they have in common today. We will celebrate our differences and what we have in common, showing the importance of the history that unites us, promoting the borderland culture.
