„Mitridate” to pierwsza wielka opera Mozarta. Napisana przez niego w wieku zaledwie 14 lat zdumiewa bogactwem muzycznej wyobraźni młodziutkiego twórcy, który w tym wieku wyprzedził pod względem emocjonalnej głębi i różnorodności inwencji większość twórców włoskiej opery lat 1770. Tę barwną partyturę poprowadzi znany nam doskonale jako śpiewak Philippe Jaroussky - Page officielle. Zagra capella cracoviensis, a śpiewać będzie znakomity międzynarodowy zestaw solistów z Zachary Wilderem na czele w tytułowej roli i Rebeccą Bottone, która wcieli się w główną postać kobiecą – Aspazję.

Mitridate is Mozart's first major opera. Written by him at the age of only 14, it astonishes with the richness of the young composer's musical imagination, which, at such a young age, surpassed the emotional depth and diversity of invention of most Italian opera composers of the 1770s. This colorful score will be conducted by Philippe Jaroussky, whom we know well as a singer – Page officielle. The performance will feature the Capella Cracoviensis orchestra, and an outstanding international ensemble of soloists, with Zachary Wilder in the title role and Rebecca Bottone portraying the main female character, Aspasia.
