The Barber of Seville by G. Rossini is a comic opera considered the ultimate model of its genre. It is also the most famous and beloved work of this composer, featuring beautiful music, an excellent script, and "endless theatrical humor," as Piotr Kamiński writes in the book "A Thousand and One Operas."

The musical direction of the opera is led by Tomasz Tokarczyk, while the direction is in the hands of the outstanding theatrical and film actor, director, and educator Jerzy Stuhr. This lover of Italy, its culture, and art, made his directorial debut in musical theatre on the Krakow stage.
