Zapraszamy na otwarcie naszej plenerowej wystawy usytuowanej w nietuzinkowym miejscu, bo na naszym muzealnym galarze Szwajcarka, zacumowanym w Przystani Muzeum. Galar krakowski – jednostka wiślana tak charakterystyczna dla naszego miasta jeszcze sto lat temu. Gdzie na galarze była GŁOWA, do czego służył KURZEC i gdzie były ZAŁOMKI? Tego wszystkiego dowiecie się jeśli dotrzecie na naszą Przystań.

Wartością dodaną będzie możliwość doświadczenia treści na żywym organizmie galara. Podczas otwarcia wystawy będzie można wejść na jednostkę, dotknąć wręg, burt, a nawet rzucić kotwicą. Jest to zarazem wystawa otwierająca cykl wystaw pt. „Temat rzeka” dotyczących różnych zagadnień związanych z Wisłą, dziedzictwem rzeki w mieście.

We invite you to the opening of our outdoor exhibition located in a unique place—on our museum barge Szwajcarka, moored at the Museum Marina. The Kraków barge was a type of river vessel characteristic for our city just a hundred years ago. Where was the HEAD on the barge, what was the KURZEC used for, and where were the ZAŁOMKI? You’ll find out all this if you come to our Marina.

An added value is the chance to experience the content on the living organism of the barge itself. During the exhibition opening, you will be able to board the vessel, touch the frames and sides, and even drop the anchor. This exhibition also launches a series titled “River Topic” focusing on various issues related to the Vistula River and its heritage in the city.
