Noc Cracovia Sacra 2025

Wystawy tematyczne, koncerty, warsztaty, gra miejska oraz zwiedzanie muzeów i na co dzień niedostępnych zakamarków kościołów i klasztorów składają się na bogaty i jak zawsze niepowtarzalny program tego wydarzenia. Niezmienne są daty, zmienia się co roku motyw przewodni, który w tej edycji brzmi: Dziedzictwo królewskie w przestrzeni Sacrum. 1000–lecie Korony Polskiej.

Decyzją Komitetu Honorowego obchodów Tysiąclecia Królestwa Polskiego tegoroczne krakowskie święto sztuki sakralnej zostało bowiem w całości włączone w oficjalny kalendarz jubileuszu. W programie znalazło się aż czternaście koncertów, w tym Korona i Krzyż – muzyczna opowieść o Królowej Jadwidze, widowisko muzyki, słowa i obrazu artystów Piwnicy św. Norberta (14.08, 20.00, klasztor oo. Karmelitów Na Piasku, ul. Karmelicka 19), Jam jest Pasterz dobry w wykonaniu zespołu muzyki dawnej Scepus Baroque (14, 15.08, 19.00, Sanktuarium Diecezjalne św. Jana Bożego, ul. Krakowska 48) oraz Lectio Divina, a w jej programie najstarsze zachowane skarby i zabytki muzyki polskiej w interpretacji Octava ensemble (15.08, 19.00, opactwo ss. Benedyktynek w Staniątkach, Staniątki 299). Premierowy spektakl A na świecie zbożny pobyt – po żywocie rajski przebyt przedstawią Teatr Loch Camelot wraz z chórem Auxilium (15.08, 20.15, kościół oo. Reformatów, ul. Reformacka 4). Zobaczymy dziewięć wystaw tematycznych, m.in. w ogrodzie szpitalnym oo. Bonifratrów, opactwie oo. Cystersów w Mogile oraz przed bazylikami oo. Paulinów i oo. Franciszkanów. Ciekawie przedstawia się program Nocy Cracovia Sacra w benedyktyńskim opactwie w Tyńcu. Składają się na niego tematyczne zwiedzanie zatytułowane Korona i mnisi, benedyktyni i władza oraz warsztaty rodzinne U źródeł Polski. Muzeum Katedralne na Wawelu zaprezentuje unikatowe dokumenty pergaminowe wystawione przez Kazimierza Jagiellończyka oraz Zygmunta Starego. Gra miejska Korony, infuły i krakowskie artefakty będzie się wiązała z odszukaniem i poznaniem miejsc ze szczególnymi odniesieniami do historii Polski, w tym przede wszystkim do 1000-lecia koronacji Bolesława Chrobrego na pierwszego króla Polski. Wstęp na wydarzenia Nocy Cracovia Sacra jest wolny, jednak na niektóre z nich obowiązują wejściówki, warto więc zapoznać się wcześniej z programem.

Thematic exhibitions, concerts, workshops, a city game and visits to museums and normally inaccessible nooks and crannies of churches and monasteries make up the rich and, as always, unique programme of this event. The dates are unchanged, the theme changes every year, which in this edition is: Royal Heritage in the Sacred Space. the 1000th anniversary of the Polish Crown.

Indeed, by the decision of the Honourary Committee for the Celebration of the Millennium of the Kingdom of Poland, this year's Krakow festival of sacred art was included in its entirety in the official calendar of the jubilee. The programme includes as many as fourteen concerts, including Korona i Krzyż (The Crown and the Cross) – a musical story of Queen Jadwiga, a spectacle of music, word and image by the artists of Piwnica Św. Norberta (14.08, 8.00 pm, the Carmelite Convent Na Piasku, ul. Karmelicka 19), Jam jest Pasterz dobry (I am the Good Shepherd) performed by the Scepus Baroque early music ensemble (14, 15.08, 7.00 pm, St John of God Diocesan Sanctuary, ul. Krakowska 48), and Lectio Divina, with the programme of the oldest preserved treasures and monuments of Polish music interpreted by the Octava ensemble (15.08, 7.00 pm, Abbey of the Benedictine Sisters in Staniątki, Staniątki 299). The Loch Camelot Theatre and the Auxilium Choir will present the premiere performance of "After a Pious Stay in the World., Eternal Life in Paradise" (15.08, 8.15 pm, Reformatius Church, ul. Reformacka 4). Nine thematic exhibitions will be on view, including in the hospital garden of the Fathers of St John of God, the Cistercian Abbey in Mogiła and in front of the basilicas of the Pauline and Franciscan Fathers. The programme of the Cracovia Sacra Night at the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec is interesting. It consists of a thematic tour entitled "The Crown and the Monks, the Benedictines and Power" and a family workshop entitled "At the Origins of Poland". The Wawel Cathedral Museum will present unique parchment documents issued by Casimir the Jagiellonian and Sigismund the Old. The urban game "Crowns, infula and Krakow artefacts" will involve finding and learning about places with special references to Polish history, including in particular the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of Bolesław Chrobry as the first king of Poland. Admission to the events of the Cracovia Sacra Night is free, but tickets are required for some of them, so it is worth finding out about the programme in advance.
