Jej radosne i beztroskie dzieciństwo przerywa przepowiednia Szamana mówiąca o tym, że przyszły wybranek serca Kalyani pozbawi lud swojego wodza. Rodzice dziewczynki Asante i Shantani podejmują najtrudniejszą decyzję w życiu – wyprawiają córkę do krainy wojowników Koa, gdzie nieobciążona przepowiednią będzie mogła dorosnąć i założyć rodzinę, bez obawy o życie ojca. Czy decyzja Wodza i jego żony oddali widmo przepowiedni a Kalyani będzie szczęśliwa? Czy miłość pokona czyhające zło?

To baśń o uniwersalnych, niekwestionowanych wartościach, które w dzisiejszych czasach są często zapominane tj.: przyjaźń, miłość, lojalność, oddanie. To idealny spektakl familijny i równie dobry czas dla dwojga wypełniony prawdziwymi emocjami.
Musical „Kalyani” to wzruszająca opowieść o miłości rodziców do dziecka oraz o uczuciu pomiędzy dwójką młodych ludzi nieświadomych losu, który nie chce im sprzyjać. A wszystko zanurzone w etnicznej, pięknej muzyce, zwyczajach i wierzeniach ludu Tanaho, baśniowej atmosferze miejsca, które trudno znaleźć na standardowej mapie.

Poland's only ethnic musical tells the magical and unique story of the ancient Tanaho tribe, where a child, Kalyani's daughter, appears in the chief's family. Her happy and carefree childhood is interrupted by a shaman's prophecy that the future choice of Kalyani's heart will deprive the people of their chief. The girl's parents, Asante and Shantani, must make the most difficult decision of their lives – to send their daughter to the warrior land of Koa, where, unencumbered by the prophecy, she will be able to grow up and start a family without fearing for her father's life. Will the decision of the chief and his wife cast away the spectre of prophecy and will Kalyani be happy? Will love overcome the lurking evil?

‘Kalyani’ is a tale about universal, unquestioned values that are often forgotten nowadays, such as friendship, love, loyalty, and devotion. This is the perfect family show and an equally good time for a couple filled with real emotions. The musical 'Kalyani' is a touching story about the love between parents and their child and the affection between two young people unaware of a fate that does not want to favour them. And all immersed in the ethnic, beautiful music, customs and beliefs of the Tanaho people, a fairytale atmosphere of a place that is hard to find on a standard map.
