Intel Extreme Masters (IEM), jedna z najbardziej prestiżowych i najdłużej działających serii turniejów esportowych na świecie, oficjalnie przenosi swoje rozgrywki z Katowic do Krakowa. Finałowe zmagania odbędą się w dniach 6–8 lutego 2026 roku w TAURON Arenie Kraków.

Wydarzenie organizowane przez ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) zapoczątkuje nowy rozdział w ponad 19-letniej historii IEM, która rozpoczęła się w 2006 roku w Hanowerze. IEM Kraków wystartuje 27 stycznia i zgromadzi 24 najlepsze drużyny Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) z całego świata, które zmierzą się w walce o sześć miejsc w fazie play-off.

W trakcie trzydniowych finałowych zmagań, które odbędą się w dniach 6–8 lutego 2026 roku w TAURON Arenie Kraków, tysiące fanów będzie mogło na żywo śledzić rywalizację najlepszych graczy walczących o prestiżowe trofeum oraz pulę nagród wynoszącą 1 250 000 dolarów.

Przeniesienie turnieju do Krakowa to ważny krok, który pozwoli na powiększenie liczby widzów oraz podniesienie jakości organizacji wydarzenia na najwyższy światowy poziom. W ramach wieloletniej współpracy między ESL FACEIT Group a Miastem Kraków, IEM stanie się cykliczną imprezą na esportowej mapie Krakowa przez kolejne lata.

Intel Extreme Masters (IEM), one of the world's most prestigious and longest-running esports tournament series, is officially moving its games from Katowice to Krakow. The final competition will take place on 6-8 February 2026 at the TAURON Arena Krakow.

Organised by the ESL FACEIT Group (EGF), the event will mark the start of a new chapter in the more than 19-year history of IEM, which began in 2006 in Hannover. IEM Krakow will kick off on 27 January and will bring together 24 of the best Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams from around the world to battle it out for six play-off spots.

Thousands of fans will be able to follow the rivalry of the best players competing for the prestigious trophy and a prize pool of $1 250 000 live during the three-day finals, which will take place from 6-8 February 2026 at TAURON Arena Krakow.

Moving the tournament to Krakow is an important step to increase the number of spectators and raise the quality of the event's organisation to the highest level in the world. As part of the long-standing cooperation between ESL FACEIT Group and the City of Krakow, IEM will become a regular event on the esports map of Krakow for years to come.
