Recital mistrzowski Zitong Wang/ Master Recital by Zitong Wang

Filharmonia Krakowska zaprasza na serię recitali mistrzowskich z udziałem pianistów, którzy w sposób szczególny wyróżnili się podczas XIX Międzynarodowego Konkursu Pianistycznego im. Fryderyka Chopina w Warszawie.

Na scenie Filharmonii Krakowskiej usłyszymy zdobywczynię III nagrody w konkursie – Zitong Wang. Artystka wykona recital wypełniony wyłącznie kompozycjami Fryderyka Chopina. Koncert przełożony z 25 listopada 2025 roku.

Zitong Wang - urodzona 3 lutego 1999 r. w Mongolii, studiowała w Konserwatorium Nowej Anglii pod kierunkiem Danga Thai Sona. Jest zwyciężczynią konkursów: bachowskiego im. Rosalyn Tureck w Nowym Jorku (2010), w Princeton (2020) i w Ferrolu (Hiszpania, 2022). W 2023 r. zdobyła VI nagrodę na Konkursie Busoniego w Bolzano. Zadebiutowała recitalem w Forbidden City Concert Hall w Pekinie w wieku 13 lat. Wystąpiła też w Verizon Hall w Pensylwanii, Severance Hall w Cleveland, Steinway Hall w Nowym Jorku oraz w Pekinie, Szanghaju i Tajpej, z orkiestrami z Filadelfii, Cleveland, New Jersey, hiszpańskiej Galicji, pod batutą m.in. Jahja Linga czy Xian Zhang. Jako kameralistka współpracowała m.in. z Mengiem-Chieh Liu, Robertem Díazem oraz Chamber Music Northwest.

Krakow Philharmonic invites you to a series of masterclass recitals featuring pianists who distinguished themselves in a special way during the 19th International Frederic Chopin Piano Competition  in Warsaw.

The winner of the third prize in the competition, Zitong Wang, will be heard on the Krakow Philharmonic stage. The artist will perform a recital filled exclusively with compositions by Fryderyk Chopin. Concert postponed from 25 November 2025.

Zitong Wang - born 3 February 1999 in Mongolia, studied at the New England Conservatory under Dang Thai Son. She is the winner of the following competitions: Rosalyn Tureck Bach competition in  New York (2010), in Princeton (2020) and in Ferrol (Spain, 2022). In 2023, she won 6th prize at the Busoni Competition in Bolzano. She made her recital debut at the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing at the age of 13. She has also performed at Verizon Hall in Pennsylvania, Severance Hall in Cleveland, Steinway Hall in New York and in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei, with orchestras from Philadelphia, Cleveland, New Jersey, Spanish Galicia, under the baton of Jahja Ling and Xian Zhang, among others. As a chamber musician, she has collaborated with Meng-Chieh Liu, Robert Díaz and Chamber Music Northwest, among others.
