XVII Dni Komedii dell’Arte/ 17th Commedia dell’Arte Days

Kraków ponownie stanie się polską stolicą teatru dell’arte. Tegoroczna edycja odbędzie się pod hasłem „Komedia dostępna”. Łączy ono tradycję włoskiego teatru z ideą otwartości i równego dostępu do kultury. Organizatorzy zadbali, aby sztuka komedii była w zasięgu wszystkich odbiorców – niezależnie od wieku, doświadczenia czy sprawności.
XVII edycja wydarzenia oficjalnie rozpocznie się 20 lutego wernisażem wystawy „Karnawał masek” i potrwa 15 dni – do 6 marca. Towarzyszące festiwalowi warsztaty teatralne i artystyczne wystartują już 17 lutego.

W programie zobaczymy aż 5 różnych komedii w stylu dell’arte w wykonaniu Trupy Komedianty oraz gościnny spektakl włoskiej Compagnia Hellequin.

Kraków will once again become Poland’s capital of commedia dell’arte. This year’s edition will take place under the slogan “Comedy for All.” It brings together the tradition of Italian theatre with the idea of openness and equal access to culture. The organizers have ensured that the art of comedy is within reach of all audiences—regardless of age, experience, or ability.

The 17th edition of the event will officially begin on February 20 with the opening of the exhibition “Carnival of Masks” and will last 15 days, until March 6. Theatre and arts workshops accompanying the festival will start as early as February 17.

The programme will feature as many as five different commedia dell’arte–style comedies performed by Trupa Komedianty, as well as a guest performance by the Italian Compagnia Hellequin.
