Jarmark Wielkanocny/ Easter Market

Przedświąteczny Jarmark odbywający się na płycie Rynku Głównego oferuje bogaty wybór produktów świątecznych: stroiki, koszyki, palmy, świeczki, wydmuszki, a także ręcznie malowaną porcelanę, biżuterię, wyroby regionalne (obrusy świąteczne, kierpce, plecionki), wyroby z masy solnej, z mąki, z siana, z drewna, a także oscypki i słodycze.

Dla krakowian i turystów odwiedzających Jarmark przygotowuje się punkty małej gastronomii promujące kuchnię staropolską, pierogi oraz beczki z „Grzańcem Galicyjskim”. Plac przed Sukiennicami staje się znów wesoły i różnobarwny.

Organizatorzy starają się, aby przed samymi świętami punkty małej gastronomii oferowały przynajmniej jedno danie związane ze Świętami Wielkanocnymi.

Jarmarkowi temu towarzyszą również liczne imprezy, między innymi: pokaz palm i obrzędów wielkanocnych, pokaz tradycyjnych stołów regionalnych, święcenie pokarmów. Nabór na Jarmark Wielkanocny przeprowadzany jest na dwa miesiące przed imprezą.

The pre-holiday Market held in the Main Market Square offers a rich selection of festive products: Easter centerpieces, baskets, palms, candles, blown eggs, as well as hand-painted porcelain, jewelry, regional crafts (holiday tablecloths, traditional highlander shoes, woven items), products made of salt dough, flour, hay, and wood, as well as smoked oscypek cheese and sweets.

For the residents of Kraków and tourists visiting the Market, small gastronomy stalls are prepared, promoting traditional Old Polish cuisine, pierogi, and barrels of “Galician Mulled Wine.” The square in front of the Cloth Hall once again becomes lively and colorful.

The organizers make every effort to ensure that just before the holidays, the food stalls offer at least one dish related to Easter traditions.

The Market is also accompanied by numerous events, including presentations of Easter palms and traditional Easter customs, showcases of regional festive tables, and the blessing of Easter food.

Applications for participation in the Easter Market are conducted two months before the event.
