22. Noc Muzeów

Tegoroczne hasło Nocy Muzeów w Krakowie Muzea łączą wpisuje się w temat przypadającego trzy dni później (18.05) Międzynarodowego Dnia Muzeów 2026: Muzea jednoczące podzielony świat. W ten sposób Międzynarodowa Rada Muzeów (ICOM) podkreśla – tak bardzo dziś istotną – rolę muzeów, które „nie zacierają różnic, lecz tworzą warunki, w których mogą one być rozumiane i traktowane z szacunkiem: chroniąc dziedzictwo i pamięć, oferując możliwość nauki i refleksji oraz zapewniając przyjazne przestrzenie, w których można usłyszeć różnorodne głosy”. Krakowski maraton muzealny tym razem oficjalnie zainaugurujemy w Muzeum Inżynierii i Techniki (18.00), a dalszą trasę jak zawsze każdy wybiera sam, pamiętając przy tym, że wiele pozycji w programie wymaga wcześniejszej rezerwacji. Z niektórych skorzystamy bezpłatnie, za inne trzeba będzie zapłacić 5 zł (dzieci do lat 7 wstęp wolny).

This year’s theme of the Night of Museums in Kraków, “Museums connect”, aligns with the theme of the International Museum Day 2026, which takes place three days later (18 May): “Museums for a united, divided world.”

In this way, the International Council of Museums (ICOM) highlights the increasingly important role of museums today, which “do not erase differences, but create conditions in which they can be understood and treated with respect: by protecting heritage and memory, offering opportunities for learning and reflection, and providing welcoming spaces where diverse voices can be heard.”

The Kraków museum marathon will traditionally be officially inaugurated this time at the Museum of Engineering and Technology (6:00 p.m.). After that, everyone chooses their own route, remembering that many events in the programme require prior reservation. Some attractions will be free of charge, while others will cost 5 PLN (children under 7 enter free of charge).
