„Aladyn JR” – musical Krakowskiej Akademii Musicalu/ 'Aladdin Jr.' – a musical by the Krakow Musical Academy

Broadwayowska adaptacja oskarowego filmu animowanego wytwórni Walt Disney Company z 1992 r.  powstała na motywach „Baśni z 1001 nocy”, znanych także, jako „Opowieści Szeherezady”. Twórcy uwspółcześnili przesłanie tej klasycznej historii, przypisując bohaterom motywacje bliższe współczesnemu młodemu widzowi. Atutem porywającego i zabawnego widowiska są melodyjne utwory Alana Menkena oraz ponadczasowe przesłanie, że mimo wszelkich pokus losu, zawsze warto pozostać sobą - choć nie zawsze jest to łatwe.

The 1992 Broadway adaptation of the Walt Disney Company's Oscar-winning animated film is based on 'Tales from 1001 Nights', also known as 'The Tales of Scheherazade'. The filmmakers have modernised the message of this classic story by attributing motivations to the characters that are closer to the contemporary young audience. The strengths of the uplifting and entertaining show are Alan Menken's melodic songs and the timeless message that, despite all the temptations of fate, it is always worthwhile to remain yourself –even though it is not always easy.
