Muzeum Krakowa zaprasza na cztery soboty sierpnia w Barbakanie wypełnione pokazami średniowiecznego rzemiosła, warsztatami i koncertami muzyki dawnej.

Udział w wydarzeniach w cenie biletu wstępu do Barbakanu. Bilety można nabyć bezpośrednio w kasie Barbakanu.

Od lat Muzeum Krakowa przekonuje, że Średniowiecze mimo tego, że jest to epoka stereotypowo kojarząca się z mrokiem, okrucieństwem i brakiem postępu miało swoje jasne strony i zdecydowanie przy bliższym poznaniu da się lubić. W tej edycji skupimy się na rzemiośle, czyli podstawowym zajęciu krakowskiego mieszczaństwa w tej epoce, a którego wyroby do dziś cieszą oko zwiedzających, także na trwającej w Pałacu Krzysztofory wystawie „Kunszt i fach”. My jednak postaramy się z pomocą rekonstruktorów zaprezentować średniowieczne rzemiosło w praktyce i na żywo. W tym roku zapraszamy Państwa do Barbakanu jedynie w sierpniowe soboty, ale mimo skróconego trwania będziemy mogli wypełnić te dni w najsłynniejszej krakowskiej fortecy jeszcze większą liczbą atrakcji.

The Kraków Museum would like to invite you to four Saturdays in the August at the Barbican, featuring reenactments of medieval crafts, workshops and early music concerts.

Participation in these events is included in the price of the Barbican admission ticket. You can buy the tickets directly at the Barbican ticket office.

For many years, the Museum of Kraków has been convincing us that the Middle Ages – despite being an era stereotypically associated with darkness, cruelty and a lack of progress – had positive aspects and, upon closer inspection, is definitely a period one can come to appreciate. In this edition, we will focus on craftsmanship – the main occupation of Kraków’s bourgeoisie during that era, whose products continue to delight visitors to this day – as well as on the exhibition "Artistry and Craft" currently on display at the Krzysztofory Palace. However, with the help of re-enactors, we will endeavour to showcase medieval crafts in action and first-hand. This year, we would like to invite you to the Barbican only on August Saturdays, but despite the shorter duration, we will be able to fill up these days at Kraków’s most famous fortress with even more attractions.
