Kraków zakłada Krakuskę!/ Kraków puts on its Krakuska hat!

Stowarzyszenie Gorset Krakowski zaprasza na plac targowy „Unitarg” koło Hali Targowej na wydarzenie „Kraków zakłada Krakuskę!”. Przy wspólnym stole będzie można uszyć własną krakuskę, a najmłodsi wykonają krakowskie korale. Zagra kapela ludowa, odbędzie się prezentacja tradycyjnych strojów i zabytkowych gorsetów oraz rozmowy o historii i symbolice krakowskiego stroju.

Będzie też można się ubrać po krakowsku – przymierzyć gorset, korale, krakuskę i inne elementy stroju, a następnie zrobić sobie fotografię w stylizowanym, retro klimacie. Nie trzeba mieć własnego stroju – dla odwiedzających zostaną przygotowane elementy stroju zarówno dla kobiet, jak i mężczyzn.

A jeśli macie w domu gorset, korale, chustę, krakuskę albo inny element stroju krakowskiego – koniecznie załóżcie je na wydarzenie!

The Gorset Krakowski Association invites you to “Unitarg” Market Square near the Market Hall for “Kraków Puts on the Krakuska!”

At a shared table, you’ll be able to make your own Krakuska hat, while the youngest visitors can create traditional Kraków bead necklaces. There will be live folk music, a presentation of traditional costumes and historic bodices, as well as conversations about the history and symbolism of Kraków’s traditional dress.

You’ll also have a chance to dress up in traditional Kraków style – try on a bodice, beads, a Krakuska hat and other elements of the costume, and then take a photo in a stylised retro setting. You don’t need to bring your own costume – elements of traditional dress for both women and men will be available for visitors to try on.

And if you have a bodice, beads, a shawl, a Krakuska hat or any other element of Kraków’s traditional costume at home – be sure to wear it and come along!
