Ognisko TKKF „Przyjaciel Konika”
We wrześniu ruszył kolejny cykl spotkań edukacyjnych dotyczący historii Krakowa oraz Twierdzy Kraków „Fort Grębałów – świadek dziejów – opowiada” prowadzony przez Waldemara Brzoskwinię oraz dr. inż arch. Krzysztofa Wielgusa. Wykłady odbywają się w oryginalnym zabytkowym tradytorze w forcie pancernym głównym 49 ¼ „Grębałów”.
Wydarzenia organizuje Ognisko TKKF „Przyjaciel Konika”, które w 1988 r. przejęło i wyremontowało zabytkowy Fort zgodnie ze swoim mottem „Viribus Unitis” (wspólnymi siłami). Organizacja prowadzi w forcie zajęcia hipoterapeutyczne dla dzieci oraz popularyzuje historię poprzez realizację wykładów i oprowadzań po forcie. Na terenie fortu oraz w tradytorze znajdują się wystawy o tematyce związanej z fortem oraz o tematyce narodowo-wyzwoleńczej.

10 października – Od konia do elektryczności – komunikacja miejska w Krakowie przełomu XIX i XX wieku
17 października – Początki motoryzacji w Krakowie 1895-1914
24 października – Wisła – rzeka pracy (o znaczeniu Wisły dla Krakowa przełomu XIX i XX wieku)
7 listopada – Więcej światła! (o początkach i wczesnym okresie elektroenergetyki w Krakowie).
8 listopada – Pancerny przełom – technika i technologia fortyfikacji przełomu XIX i XX wieku
17 listopada – Wielka Wojna (I wojna światowa) – zarys fenomenu
21 listopada – Twierdze Wielkiej Wojny – fortyfikacje i boje

In September, another series of educational meetings on the history of Kraków and the Kraków Fortress began. The series, entitled “Fort Grębałów – A Witness to History Tells Its Story”, is led by Waldemar Brzoskwinia and Dr Eng. Arch. Krzysztof Wielgus. The lectures take place in the original historic caponier of the main armoured fort 49 ¼ “Grębałów”.
The events are organised by the TKKF “Przyjaciel Konika” Association, which took over and renovated the historic fort in 1988, following its motto “Viribus Unitis” (“with united forces”). The organisation runs hippotherapy sessions for children at the fort, as well as promoting history through lectures and guided tours of the fort. The fort and its caponier house exhibitions devoted to the history of the fort and the struggle for national independence.
