Twin Peaks: do drzwi czerwonych zapukam/ I’ll Knock on the Red Door

W spokojnym miasteczku gdzieś na północy Stanów Zjednoczonych zostaje odnalezione ciało uczennicy, Laury Palmer… Nie, nie, nie. Nas nie interesuje słynne pytanie: „Kto zabił Laurę Palmer?”. Nas interesuje, co się z nią działo wcześniej.

Przenosząc świat Twin Peaks do współczesności, dekonstruujemy ludzkie relacje, analizując brak miłości między córką i ojcem czy brak oparcia w matce niczym z obrazu „Złe matki” Giovanniego Segantiniego. Czerpiemy z „Blue Velvet” i innych lynchowskich obrazów, czerpiemy z codzienności i aktualnych problemów, zastanawiamy się, na czym polega dualizm w odwiecznej wędrówce dusz pomiędzy dobrem i złem.

In a quiet town somewhere in the northern United States, the body of a schoolgirl, Laura Palmer, is discovered… No, no, no. We’re not interested in the famous question: “Who killed Laura Palmer?” We’re interested in what happened to her before that.

By bringing the world of Twin Peaks into the present day, we deconstruct human relationships, exploring the absence of love between a daughter and her father and the lack of support from a mother, reminiscent of Giovanni Segantini’s painting The Evil Mothers. We draw inspiration from Blue Velvet and other works by David Lynch, as well as from everyday life and contemporary issues. We reflect on the nature of duality in the eternal journey of souls between good and evil.
