W świecie pulsującym muzyką i ruchem artyści Teatru Tańca Terpsychora przełożą słynne dialogi i symbole na język ciała, gestu i rytmu. W spektaklu ożyją autentyczne zwyczaje weselne, pełne tańców ludowych i historycznych choreografii z czasów Lucjana Rydla i Jadwigi Mikołajczykówny. Metafizyczną przestrzeń duchów wypełni zaś balet i taniec współczesny.

Ośrodek Ruczaj, a branch of the Podgórze Cultural Centre in Kraków, invites you to a unique performance — a dance interpretation of The Wedding, one of the most important works in Polish literature, by Stanisław Wyspiański.

In a world pulsating with music and movement, the artists of Terpsychora Dance Theatre will translate its famous dialogues and symbols into the language of the body, gesture and rhythm. The performance will bring authentic wedding traditions to life, featuring folk dances and historical choreographies from the time of Lucjan Rydel and Jadwiga Mikołajczykówna. Meanwhile, the metaphysical realm of spirits will be brought to life through ballet and contemporary dance.
